Yes, I agree will many comments. Some dealers there are very rude. It's a shame because it's a nice setting.They never haggle, and look at you as though you're stupid to even ask, consequently much of the stock has never changed.
Travelled there especially and they closed early and they were rude. Avoid!
Well worth the visit, some lovely items and a Warren of rooms goes on forever and a cafe as well.
Yet another place I drove past for years and meant to visit, but never did. Took my visiting sister here so she could buy a gift for her partner, and we were both blown away by it. The item variety was stunning, and the prices reasonable (we visited a similar place in Stratford-on-Avon and equivalent items had tourist inflation).My sister bought her item and I bought a beautiful antique oak barometer/thermometer, restored by an horologist who sells there. I fear if I keep visiting, then my house will fill and my wallet will empty...
A very nice shop with lovely stock if you can see the dealer who's stock it is... however one gentleman that works there was very rude I asked if he could ring one of the dealers about there stock and he basically told me its not like you see on the telly !!! I sell myself and would be very cross if I wasn't phoned about my stock I spent over 500 In there and was willing to buy a lot more from other cabinets but just didn't bother to ask him anymore so two dealers lost out on sales one would have been well over 1000 on mah jong sets !!! And I won't be returning either
