We had a lovely evening, they looked after us very well and the food was delicious.
It's a really nice pub. The manager is great, really welcoming and professional. The other staff are also great. It's got a good location, parking is available a the cattle market carpark nearby (which is free in the evening).
Under new ownership - fairly standard pub food made to look a little more upmarket. Feels a bit odd that they have a wine list starting at 20 to drink with burger and chips. As it's just reopened I guess they are finding their niche but seemed very expensive for the type of food
Had a fantastic evening. They know how to cook a really good steak, the wine was great and the live music brilliant. Will definitely be going back!
